Refund and Returns Policy
Overview
We want you to be happy with your purchase from PlainClay. This policy outlines the conditions under which you can return an item and receive a refund or exchange.
Return Window
You have 7 days from the date of purchase to return an eligible item. Unfortunately, after 7 days, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.
Eligible Items
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in the same condition you received it
- In the original packaging
- Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase
Return Process:
Contact Us: Before returning any item, please email us at help.plainclay@gmail.com to request a return authorization (RMA).
Pack Your Return Securely: Carefully pack your unused and undamaged item(s) in the original packaging.
Ship Your Return: Ship your return package to the address which’ll be provided via email response. We recommend using a trackable shipping service with insurance. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your selected payment method within a certain amount of days.
Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received your refund after a reasonable timeframe, please follow the steps outlined in the policy for further assistance.
Partial Refunds
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted, such as:
- Items with obvious signs of use
- Items not in original condition
- Items damaged due to reasons not related to our error
- Items returned more than 7 days after delivery
Sale Items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items are not refundable.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same one, please email us at help.plainclay@gmail.com and send your item to the address which’ll be provided on your email response.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item was not marked as a gift, the gift giver will receive a refund.
Shipping Returns
You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
